Films on Demand You can embed videos into you class sakai site, send students links to videos on FOD (they will need to use their webadvisor credentials to view it), and with a free account you can create custom segments and playlists for your students.

Google allows you to search images from across the web. You can even reverse image search and search by usage rights!

When you do a Google Search, you can filter your results to find images, videos, or text that you have permission to use.
Wikimedia Commons
A database of 86,245,618 freely usable (and counting) freely usable media files to which anyone can contribute.
Flickr Creative Commons
Many Flickr users have chosen to offer their work under a Creative Commons license, and you can browse or search through content under each type of license.
Unsplash
All photos published on Unsplash can be used for free. You can use them for commercial and noncommercial purposes. You do not need to ask permission from or provide credit to the photographer or Unsplash, although it is appreciated when possible.

Khan Academy offers practice exercises, instructional videos, and a personalized learning dashboard that empower learners to study at their own pace in and outside of the classroom.
PBS LearningMedia
Mostly for PreK-12 but does offer some undergraduate content, as well.
TED-Ed
Create or re-use video lessons from TED or Youtube videos.
Video Data Bank
Video Data Bank is a non-profit art archive and video distribution service and a department of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Represented are a diverse range of critically acclaimed video art, digital art, and alternative documentaries. Their website provides clips from many videos and biographical information on individual artists.
