The North Carolina Community College System launched an OER initiative in December 2020. Use their platform to discover or share open education tools and ideas.

Virginia Tech's OER guide has a handy tool that allows you to search by subject.

Maintained by Fox Valley Technical College, Wisc-Online hosts free learning objects across many subjects.

Hosted at the University of Texas at Austin, COERLL, collections of videos, teaching materials, and training for open education in over 20 languages.

The Open Education Group studies the efficacy of Open Education. Using what it calls "The COUP Framework," the Open Education Group studies Cost, Outcomes, Usage, and Perceptions of OER in comparison with commercial textbooks.
Its Review Project summarizes "all known empirical research on the impacts of OER adoption."

Achieving the dream endeavors to promote student success by supporting faculty adoption of OER, researching the efficacy of Open Education practices, and encouraging schools to expand OER textbook use.
