IT professional networking in the Triangle

Meetup.comLiving in the Triangle area provides many opportunities to work in information technology. While you're in school, consider joining a Meetup.

Meetup.com is a website that people use to schedule events around specific interests. Local Meetups in information technology* include groups for C++ developers; aspiring IT professionals; Java, Linux or Drupal users and others. Once you land on the meetup.com page, search for keywords such as Linux.

Information Technology textbooks on Reserve

MStarting Out with Java 7th ed.any textbooks are on reserve at the Durham Tech Library. This means that you can check them out at the library circulation desk for two hours at a time, but the books have to stay in the library.

To see whether Technology for Success MS Office 365 and Office 20your textbooks are on reserve, use the library catalog to Lookup Items on Reserve. You can enter your course number (for example, "CIS 110"), name of the reserve desk (e.g., "Durham Reserve Desk"), and click the "Lookup Items on Reserve by Course Number" button.
