What are reserve materials?
Reserves are any items (books, articles, magazines, DVDs, etc.) that instructors have asked the library to make available for students to share. Most reserve items can only be used in the library for two hours at a time. Reserve materials may be photocopied in the library for five cents per page.
How do I access reserve materials?
Reserve materials are kept behind the circulation desk. To use them, go to the desk and ask the library staff for what you need. We will need to know your class name and number (for example, REL 110) as well as the title of the item (for example, Living Religions, 10th edition).
Do reserve materials have to be checked out with my library card?
Yes. Even though most reserves are used in the library only, we must check them out to you.
Are all textbooks on reserve?
No. However, the library does have many course textbooks available and we strive to make texts available to students.
The following item is on reserve in the library for World Religions. It can be checked out for 2 hours use in the library; it cannot be taken out of the library. Please keep in mind that reserves can change from one semester to another.
