During the current pandemic we offer most of our regular services online. Contact the library for any questions. Any persons on campus and in the library are required to wear a face mask and/or shield covering both their nose and mouth at all times. School-aged children are also required to wear face coverings. This is for the health and safety of our campus community.
As a means of insuring a safer campus for everyone, Durham Tech expects all students to carry identification when on College property or at College-sponsored events. Students must be prepared to show a current student ID card when requested to do so by Durham Tech faculty or staff.
In order to enter the Main Campus Library, current students should show their student ID with the current semester identified (either updated with a sticker or printed on the ID if it has been printed recently). Digital images of the student ID may also be used. Current students may sign in three times per semester with an alternate photo ID (non-current student ID, driver's license, passport, bank card with photo, student ID from another school, etc.). Current students are defined as anyone taking one or more classes during a semester.
All visitors, including alumni and former students, must present a photo ID and sign in to use the Main Campus library.
Students using other campus libraries should maintain updated IDs in order to use all resources. Student IDs can be updated for free each semester at the Security Building or desk on all campuses.
